Clean Seas Company, Inc., et al., (M.D. Fla. Mar. 20, 2012) case, which will
be discussed in the CLE presentation; and (4) a copy of the Axis Surplus
Insurance Company v. Contravest Construction Company, 2012 WL 2048303 (M.D.
Fla. June 5, 2012), which will be discussed if time permits.  The conference

Ed Whelan of Gunster,Yoakley & Steward, P.A. will discuss Mid-Continent
Casualty Company v. Clean Seas Company, Inc. case.  This is an important
case regarding the apportionment of damages following a jury verdict, and is
very interesting.  If time permits, I will lead a discussion on The Axis
Surplus case, which is also important because there the court held that the
injury-in-fact theory, as opposed to the manifestation theory, is the
appropriate trigger theory for recovery in Florida.
