<div>To clarify, I realize 197.572 gives possession to the new owner of tax deed after issuance, but I guess my real question is what to do with the possessions to avoid any potential claim, when no one is available to refuse a demand for possession but items
are presently in the dwelling (presumably the writ of assistance is not available due to the lack of a refused demand, but items remain).</div>

<div>83.59 seems to control BUT no way to know if tenant surrendered possession, or if tenant notified prior landlord/owner in writing of an intended absence.</div>
