 the HOA obtained the information and where the information may be disputed.  It is no different than applying for a credit card.  If they pull a credit report they must send a denial letter which you can dispute.  There must be a “meaningful” investigation
 by the reporting agency.   Also, (I am testing my memory) there are two types of credit reports, one that just reports information that is supplied by furnishers and one where an investigation is conducted, the latter has a much higher standard for reporting
 pursuant to the FCRA. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

 approval of a lease renewal citing, albeit vaguely, some “issues” with the tenant.  There are no specifics.  The HOA docs do not address the grounds for refusal to approve a lease or provide any measure to determine whether an HOA can arbitrarily choose not
 to approve a lease.  It seems that the owner has a right—to lease—but that this right, which includes a financial interest, can be terminated by the HOA.      <o:p></o:p></span></p>
