I actually like this bill- although permitting as proof of tenancy a
"notarized lease" makes little sense since leases don't ever get notarized
in my experience and is just another false document that the criminal
element can easily create. BUT the fallback is proof of payment to the
owner or owner's representative which will do away with the "I paid the
cable bill" arguments and would have stopped pretty much all of the
numerous squatters I have had to throw out over the years.
