The Condomania List Serve is already dealing with these demand letters to its homeowner and condo associations.  It looks like the plaintiff’s attorneys have expanded to the multifamily industry.  One of our clients was sent a demand letter despite the fact that its website was already in compliance.  When I responded that the client’s website fully complied, that was the last we heard from the demand attorney.  Makes me wonder if due diligence is being done before the demand letters are sent.

I compiled a list of lawyers that handle these cases and, if you like, email me and I will put you on my list if you have real experience.

When my clients get hit, I just send them the lawyer list. This is not my area of law.

Do any of you know what these are generally settling for or have an expert to review the sites for compliance?  We had 2 come in today.

Some of my clients may want to fight so I am looking for some lawyers who have taken these cases to completion rather than just quick settlements.

We don’t see these letting up soon.
