Florida Statutes 83.51  Landlord's obligation to maintain premises provides
in part that "Unless otherwise agreed in writing, . the landlord ... shall,
at all times during the tenancy, make reasonable provisions for:  1.  The
extermination of rats, mice, roaches, ants, wood-destroying organisms, and
bedbugs.  . "

 

One of my clients wants to shift the extermination burden to the tenants.
That's easy to draft, but do you know of any potential "unanticipated
consequences"  that I should try to cover in the lease?
