(I apologize if you received this twice. I wasn't sure if I sent the e-mail out correctly the first time, so I re-sent it.)
I have a question about the residential lease forms approved by the Florida Supreme Court early last year for use by non-lawyers. The forms indicate that they are intended for leases with a term not to exceed one year. I have a client that may want to use one of the forms for a two year lease. Other than the fact that the forms don't call for two witnesses, is there any reason they shouldn't be used for a lease with a term in excess of one year? (Admittedly, I don't do any residential leasing and am hoping to find an answer without having to do much research).
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
Scott
