Dear Members, please take a few moments to respond to the following questions. Your responses will help us to ensure that our Committee will continue to serve the needs of all of our members.
1. What percentage of your practice involves landlord/tenant matters?
Under normal circumstances (when there used to be p&S and financing transactions) - 60% . Under current market conditions - 80%
2. Would you say you represent primarily landlords or tenants?
60% Landlord 40% Tenant.
3. Do you practice primarily litigation or transactional? (if mixed, what is the percentage of each)
100% transactional (but serve as consultant to litigation matters involving commercial leases)
4. Is your practice primarily commercial or residential (if mixed, what is the percentage of each)
100% commercial
5. If you consider yourself a specialist in a particular area of Landlord/Tenant law, please let us know.
Office, industrial, retail, biotech/lab, build-to-suit and project ground lease negotiations and drafting
6. Is there an area of landlord/tenant practice that you believe could be enhanced/helped or should be addressed through the resources of the Florida Bar and our Committee activities? (examples: court procedure, changes in the law, statutory revisions, continuing education, etc.).
