Folks, could you please forward to our SAF members in your chapters? 
  
The 10th Annual Forester’s Forum is scheduled for February 2nd-4th at the Coeur d’Alene Resort.  This training workshop is geared towards folks working as professionals in natural resources field, but not necessarily just foresters.  As in past years, there are several concurrent sessions, so you can take your pick of topics including emerging issues such as new weeds and insects, legal conundrums, communication techniques, and forest product industry outlooks. 
  
Although the training sessions are top-notch, many folks also attend just because it’s a great opportunity to network with colleagues from other sectors of the industry or even just to visit with friends from other organizations on common ground.  As you can imagine, when you put a bunch of forester-types in one room, happy hour is a very unique experience.  In fact, Vinny’s (my boss) “free beer” session has become one of the most popular features of the conference!
