This year's Technical Meeting features presentations on alternative strategies of biomass estimation, as well as some new tools and G&Y modeling developments. The planned agenda includes the following::

The INGY Technical Meeting will begin with Registration, Coffee, Danish from 9:00-10:am,
with Formal meeting and presentations beginning at 10:00 am (Pacific time).
The Technical Meeting is scheduled to run from 10:00 am - ~5:00pm, with a break at noon for catered lunch.
(The INGY Steering Committee will meet the following morning, March 10, 8:30am -~11:30am.)
Registration fee of $65 will cover room rental, lunch, and breaks.
Payment can be made at the door with cash, check or purchase order.
If you would like to pay by credit card, we can arrange for that by phone in advance of the meeting.
HOTEL ROOM RESERVATIONS:
The Red Lion Hotel at the Park in Spokane has established Special room rates for the group (under the name of INGY or Inland NW Growth and Yield Coop). Room reservations may be made individually by calling 1-800-RED-LION (1-800-733-5466) and requesting Inland NW Growth & Yield Conference's special rates.
Room rates at the Red Lion Hotel at the Park are shown below and include daily continental breakfast:
$85.00 - single occupancy; $105.00 double occupancy; $125.00 triple occupancy
Rates shown do not include applicable taxes (currently 10.4%), or a County Assessment of $1.50 per guest room per night.
HOTEL LOCATION:
The Red Lion Hotel at the Park is at W. 303 North River Drive near downtown Spokane on the northern banks of the Spokane River. The hotel is located approximatley seven miles from Spokane International Airport, and complimentary shuttle service is available from the airport to the hotel and back.

While we typically hold our annual meeting in January, this year's 2010 INGY Meeting is set for early March.
I hope that you can arrange to save this date and join us in Spokane. The INGY Technical Meeting will include presentation/discussion of our efforts to develop improved forest biomass equations for Inland Northwest conifer species, the ongoing project examining small tree growth under variable competition levels, as well as other topics of interest from various speakers to be confirmed. I will follow-up with a detailed agenda, as well as final arrangements with hotel lodging and meeting room information in the next few weeks.
