Selkirk Chapter Meeting

Thursday, December 17

 

 

The meeting is at The Chic-A-Rica's German Inn & Pub, 1812 West Francis, Spokane, WA.  It is located in 5-Mile Shopping Plaza, approximately center of the maul.

 

5:30 PM - Social half hour on your own

 

6:00 PM - Dinner is served.

 

0645 PM - Program presentation is, "Public Perceptions of Forestry" by Phil Aune, semi retired and active in the public arena as a consultant.  CFE is available.

 

08:00 PM - Business Meeting: Ralph Cornwalls last meeting as chair.  Thanks Ralph for stepping up to the plate.

 

Dinner is three (3) choices and includes coffee, tea or soft drink, tax, & gratuity. 1) Schnitzel ($15.25) served with German spaetzle (noodles).  2) Chicken Marsala ($15.25) served with rice pilaf. 3) Salisbury steak ($14.00) with red potatoes.  Also includes green salad & bread.

Next meeting is January 20, 2010 at a location TBD.  Program is entitled; Snow Melt Prediction or subtitle; "Quantification of Short and Long Wave Radiation" by Rob Lawler, hydrologist with Newport-Sullivan Lake Ranger Districts, Colville National Forest.

 

May 20 -22, at Wallace Inn, the IESAF annual meeting theme; 1910 Fires: century later!   Expect early registration materials in January
