Program: "We will tour the Inland Empire Paper Mill and facilities. IEP =
installed a state-of-the-art newsprint machine in 2001, which is one of =
the best in the world. The tour will also include the new chip handling =
facility, old newspaper recycling, tertiary water treatment plant, and =
refiner machines for breaking down the chips to fiber. IEP hosts will =
be Luke Huntley and Steve Key. Come and learn about the details of =
papermaking."

Location: 3320 North Argonne Road, Spokane, WA. Directions to IEP from =
I-90: Take Argonne Exit off I-90. Go north through 3-4 traffic lights =
to railroad crossing and traffic light. IEP sign, & parking lot is on =
the right. If you cross the Spokane River, you have gone too far.

>From the north: take Francis off North Division to Bigalowe Gulch Road. =
After 3-4 miles, turn south on Argonne Road and down the hill. IEP is =
the first left after crossing the Spokane River.
