Selkirk Chapter Meeting

Program: Terrie Jain, Research Forester for the Rocky Mountain Research Station will
present: “The Silvics of Western White Pine in the Moist Forests of the Inland
Northwest”.
Location: Room 105, Environmental Sciences Building (Bldg 8 on SCC map), Spokane
Community College (SCC), 1810 Greene St., Spokane, WA.
Dinner Cost: $10 to $12. Dinner is free for SCC students.

>From C.d’A and other points east: Take I-90 west to Exit 286, Broadway Ave. Continue west
on Broadway 2 miles to Freya, turn right. Drive 0.9 mile to SCC Clock Tower.
Environmental Sciences Building is north of the Clock Tower. Park on the west side of
the building (Bldg. 8).
>From points east: Take I-90 east to exit 283B, Thor St-Freya St. Drive north on
Freya-Greene, 1.5 miles to SCC clock tower.
>From Deer Park, Newport, Priest River and other points north: Take US 2 south to Mt.
Spokane Dr., Left on Market St. south to Greene arterial . Cross the Spokane River to SCC
campus.
>From Rathdrum and Hwy 41: Come into Spokane on Trent. Stay right onto Mission and west to
Greene St. SCC campus is on your right. Turn right on Greene and right to the clock
tower.
