Proposals to Spend Excess Chapter Funds

Dear Selkirk Chapter Member:

At the end of calendar year 2004, the Selkirk Chapter had a surplus in
operating funds beyond our annual needs. We are asking for your
feedback on spending these additional funds in 2005.

Ending checking account balance:
Year 2000 $1,790
Year 2001 $1.939
Year 2002 $1,949

Year 2004 $2,864

Total funds available:

2004 Checking balance	$2,864
2004 Cash $66
2004 CD (matures 8/05)	$2,360
Total: $5,290

Proposed Expenditures:

At the November 2004 meeting, the Selkirk Chapter approved a motion to
reimburse expenses for chapter officers to attend the annual
IESAF/MTSAF leadership orientation at the Priest River Experimental
Forest in 2005 (estimated cost of $50 per person, up to $200 total).
The Chapter also approved a motion to set aside a minimum of $1,000 for
operating expenses.

The following additional expenditures are being proposed for feedback
from members. {Note: The Selkirk Chapter currently has sufficient
funds to cover all expenditures listed below with $1,000 set aside for
operating expenses}

Please rank the following expenditures with 1 being the highest
priority. If you do not approve of an item, do not rank it. There is
room at the end of the list for new proposals.
