Program:  Mark Taylor, Idaho Fish and Game will talk about the Life Discovery Center in
Coeur d’Alene.  

Location:  Terry’s Blue Plate Cafe, Dakota and Government Way, Hayden, Idaho (1 block
east of U.S. 95).

Dinner Cost: $12

The results of last month’s Selkirk Chapter spending options survey, in order of
preference include: 
1) Fund the St. Maries 5th grade forestry field tour; 
2) Establish a $500 (Inland Empire) educational grant; 
3) Post SAF interpretive signs; 
4) Provide a $600 Forester’s Fund matching grant; 
5) Establish a chapter ‘Bring-a-Guest’ fund; 
6) Reimburse member/officer expenses to attend the National Leadership Academy; 
7) Advertise in the North Idaho Timber Edition; 
8) Establish a $500 grant for the Inland Empire Natural Resource Camp; 
9) Establish a $500 grant for the Priest River High School Forestry Class; 
10) Invest in a $2,000 CD; 
11) Provide a gift for the guest speaker; and 
12) Fund a (high profile) public forestry project.  

Chapter funds have recently been obligated to support the St. Maries 5th grade forestry
field tour this spring.  We will soon implement the next 3 projects.  Thank you for your
participation in this survey.  

The next chapter meeting will be March 18, 2005.
