[Iesaf_panorama] IESAF Annual Meeting Reminder

The Panorama Chapter and Inland Empire Society of American Foresters invite
you to register for the annual meeting on March 5-7, 2009.  This years
meeting will be held in Colville, Washington at the Northeast Washington
Fair Agriculture Trade Building.  We will discuss the challenges and
opportunities associated with managing forests in difficult market
conditions. 

 

We have lined up speakers with expertise in biology, bio-fuels, business,
economics, entomology, forest management and social sciences to address
interesting and thought provoking topics relating to managing our forests.
Saturday's field trip will look at ongoing biomass removal, fuel reduction
and forest management efforts west of Kettle Falls.

 

Registration and Agenda - The registration form and agenda can be downloaded
from the Inland Empire Society website at www.iesaf.org Click on the
"Events" tab and then go to "Statewide Events"  You may fax, or e-mail, the
form to Phil Anderson. 

 

Hotel Room Reservations - Benny's Colville Inn and the Comfort Inn have
blocked a limited number of hotel rooms with special rates for SAF
attendees. They will hold these rooms at the meeting rate
($49.00-$79.99/night plus taxes) until March 1, 2009. You can reserve your
room at Benny's Colville Inn by calling 509-684-2517, or at Comfort Inn by
calling 509-684-2010. Tell reservations you're part of the Society of
American Foresters' meeting to receive the discount rate.
