> Forest Landowners: Emerging Opportunities in Tough Economic Times will be
> the topic for the combined Northeast Washington Farm Forestry
> Association/Panorama Society of American Foresters summer field tour. The
> tour begins at 9:00 AM, Saturday August 16th at the Loon Lake Conservancy
> property. 
> 
> Directions: Hwy 395 turn west on Hwy 292, look for a NEWFFA sign within ½
> mile of  Hwy 395.  Parking along railroad tracks on south side of Hwy 292.
> 
> 
> Two to three nearby locations will be toured showing different methods of
> harvesting & slash disposal. From Loon Lake the tour goes to a N.E.
> Washington Farm Forestry land owner’s property. Along that route there
> will be a self-guided tour highlighting different timber management and
> forest issues. 
> 
> Lunch will be BYOS (bring your own sack), with water and soda provided.
> Refills for water will be available for personal water bottles so (BYOWB -
> bring your own water bottle).  Coffee, juice and donuts will be provided
> in the morning.
