  Dear IESAF Members,


  Please find attached the meeting agenda and registration forms for the
  upcoming IESAF annual meeting March 20-22 in Moscow, Idaho.  The event
  will be held at the University Inn – Best Western.  The theme of the
  meeting is “The Challenges of Forest Management in the Inland Northwest”.
  We are bringing together a diverse group of speakers to address the
  challenges and opportunities facing our public and private forestlands –
  fire and forest health, management litigation vs. collaboration, and
  biomass utilization, to name a few. The meeting is designed to provide a
  free flow of information from speakers to SAF members and from SAF
  members to invited speakers from all realms of natural resource
  management.


  On Saturday, the Geospatial Learning Center at the University of Idaho
  will be presenting a GIS workshop on deriving and mapping important soil
  and timber productivity data from digital NRCS soil survey resources.
  There are a limited number of spaces available (22) – so first come,
  first served.


  Regarding logistics – the University Inn Best Western will be holding
  blocks of rooms at a reduced rate until March 1st.  Early bird
  registration ends March 7th.  Hard copies of the agenda and registration
  are in the mail and should be arriving shortly.
