Did you know that the Panorama chapter is hosting the Annual Inland Empire SAF Meeting in Colville this June? b.. Did you know that the Washington Farm Forestry Association will be co-hosting this event? c.. Do you realize that this event will pair those who have the questions with those who have the answers? Isn't this why we originally joined the Society of American Foresters and isn't this why we have continued to remain among the membership? We, as a chapter, have a tremendous opportunity here in northeast Washington to promote our society and the services it provides, but to do this with such a proportionately small number of members among the Inland Empire SAF we will need all the participation we can get. So we need to ask as members of the Panorama chapter... are we doing all we can, or can we do more? Are there factors limiting the involvement of our membership? As a chapter should we re-assess the dates, times and places our chapter holds meetings to better serve the needs of our members? We as members of the Panorama chapter face unique obstacles having a relatively small membership spread over a large region, but we also have a unique opportunity to come together as a chapter and work to make this meeting a real success! That said, I would appreciate your feedback to factors that may be affecting your involvement in Panorama chapter activities (underscore and comments?): Meeting locations?
