SAF award nomination deadlines coming due soon, I thought this would be the
appropriate time to remind everyone what National SAF and IESAF awards are
honored and encourage all to participate by nominating your outstanding
professional colleagues. Listed below with nomination deadline dates are
upcoming National and Inland Empire awards. All awards listed below are
also listed on our Inland Empire SAF web-site drop down “Events”
at <a href="http://www.iesaf.org">www.iesaf.org</a>. Award descriptions
and nomination information and procedures for <b><u>all</u></b> National awards
(including Fellows, Presidential Field Forester and Outstanding Student Chapter)can
be found at <a href="http://www.safnet.org/">www.safnet.org</a> - drop down “About
SAF” – “Honors and Excellence”. Please be aware
that <b><u>all</u></b> nominations and all nomination materials must be
completed by the nominator (You) and <b><u>not</u></b> by the IESAF awards
Chair (Me). I will be happy to help out where I can and make sure that
nominations completed <b><u>before</u></b> the deadline are delivered to the
appropriate officials if needed. Also please note past IESAF award
recipients, for both National and IESAF awards, are listed on our IESAF web-site
(drop down Events). Congratulate these past recipients if you like, but
please do not re-nominate them for the same award. To help out with the
nomination process, I have attached several but not all nomination application
and information forms for many of the National awards. These forms can
also be found on the National web-site listed above. I highly recommend
that you review these awards on the web-site! Again, if you have questions or
