[Iesaf_palouse] June field trip

We had an excellent June field trip. The Nez Perce foresters have all the problems of NEPA on top of some challenging political problems and did an excellent job of covering it. It was interesting to review how they are handeling timber management, fuels management, reforestation, bio-control of noxious weeds, federal air rules, forest health, and sale of carbon offsets. The Nez Perce also have an impressive display of Nez Perce Tribe history at the National Historic Park. It is worth the time to stop at this Historic Park.

Thanks to John DeGroot, Roger Williams and all the other Nez Perce folks that provided a great field trip along with a good lunch.
