[Iesaf_palouse] WSU Forestry/SAF Club selected as "Superior Student Club" for the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences

Dear All,

 

Please join me congratulating Dr. Mark Swanson, Dr. Keith Blatner and
his dedicated students in the WSU Forestry/SAF club.  They have been
awarded the Superior Student Club for the WSU College of Agricultural,
Human, and Natural Resource Sciences.  The award itself is awarded
annually to one of the numerous student clubs in the College of
Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences at Washington State
University.  There are many excellent and dedicated student Clubs in
CAHNRS, many with longstanding traditions on the WSU campus: the Dairy
Club, the Horticulture Club, the Turf Grass Club, and others.  Most of
these have connections to professional societies, much like the WSU
Forestry Club and SAF Chapter has a direct connection to the Society of
American Foresters.  This is indeed a great accomplishment for them.  

 

Please review the attached application packet that was submitted for
this award.  You will be duly impressed with this dynamic group of young
forestry students and their advisors Mark Swanson and Keith Blatner.
