[Iesaf_palouse] PSR Leadership Transfer Update

Dear Chapter Members,

 

A PSR leadership transfer and financial audit meeting was held last
night.  Bill Davis, Ann Abbott, Terry Shaw, Kara Chadwick, Tera King,
Greg Bassler, and myself reviewed the chapter's financial books and
found them to be correct and up-to-date.  On behalf of the chapter I
would like to thank Greg Bassler for a job well done and for his long
service as PSR treasurer.  Also, I would like to thank Tera King for
taking on the treasurer position.  Tera King, Kara Chadwick, and Ann
Abbott are working on putting together a 2009 chapter budget.  This will
be presented for approval to the chapter members at the February chapter
meeting.

 

Chair-Elect Kara Chadwick will begin to take on responsibility for
day-to-day chapter activities starting this month.  However, since this
is a transition month, you will probably still hear from me on

There are several important dates to keep in mind:

 

Jan. 30-31: Inland Empire Leadership Conference, Chewelah, WA

March 6-7: Inland Empire Annual Conference, Colville, WA

Sometime in March: Palouse/Snake River Workshop

April 3-7: National SAF Leadership Academy

June 6 or 13: Palouse/Snake River Tour and BBQ

 

It has been a wonderful opportunity working with the chapter members
over these past 3 years.  Thank you for putting up with me so long!  I
have learned much and look forward to more opportunities to serve SAF in
the future.
