[Iesaf_palouse] PSR Elections Update and Chapter Details

Dear All,

 

The ballots have been counted and verified regarding the 2008 PSR
chapter officer election.  There was a 27% voter turnout, which is one
of the highest we have had.

 

Kara Chadwick was elected as Chair-Elect and Tera King as Treasurer -
each obtaining 100% of the vote!  Talk about a mandate.  Each will
assume their duties on January 1, 2009.  On behalf of the chapter, I
would like to thank Kara and Tera for assuming these leadership roles
within our chapter.  As chair for one more year, I will do my best to
help smooth the transition for the new chair-elect, but I am sure that
Kara will appreciate any support you can give in the upcoming year.   

 

Upcoming SAF Activity Dates:

 

12/10/08 - PSR monthly meeting, Moscow, ID

1/30 - 1/31 - Inland Empire Leadership Retreat, Chewelah, WA

3/6 - 3/7 - Inland Empire Annual Conference, Colville, WA

4/3 - 4/7 - National Leadership Academy, Coeur d'Alene, ID (Was held in
Washington D.C. last year, so a good opportunity this year)
