[Iesaf_palouse] June 14th SAF Field Tour

Dear All,

 

The field tour of the Chimney complex fire was a huge success thanks to
the efforts of Dick Reid (chapter member)!  Special thanks go to Thom
Hawkins (former IDL and new SAF member), Jim White (Idaho Fish & Game),
and the Wolf Education and Research Center.  They provided our members
with a great learning experience and a chance to interact with other
natural resource professionals outside forestry.  Attached is a group
picture taken at a Snake River Canyon overlook.

 

I wish to thank all the members that participated and look forward to
next year's tour.

 

Our next chapter meeting will be in September.  In the meantime, I hope
each and every one of you have a great summer!

P.S.  When you have some time to think of SAF over the summer, the PSR
chapter is looking to fill the Chair-Elect, Treasurer, and Secretary
