[Iesaf_palouse] June 14th SAF Field Tour

Dear All,

 

The PSR SAF chapter will be conducting a field tour and BBQ on June 14th
out of the Winchester area.  A tentative schedule is attached below.

 

 

9:00 AM - Meet at Nez Perce Historic Park, drop off cars, and arrange
carpool.

 

9:30 AM - Arrive at Winchester.  Meet with others coming from the local
area and leave extra cars at Gateway store. Proceed to Soldier Meadows
Reservoir with 30-60 minutes at the Wolf Center.

 

10:30 - 11:00 AM - Arrive at Soldier Meadows.  Meet with reps from IDL,
IFG, Bennett and Tribe.  Thom Hawkins will brief the group on the Cabin
fire and salvage sale program on F&G property with input from the
others.

 

NOON  - Have tailgate snack lunch at Soldier Meadows (provided by PSR
chapter).  Resume Cabin Fire site visits.

 

3:00 - 4:00 PM Return to Winchester Lake State Park for wrap up and
barbecue (provided by PSR chapter).

 

 

Please RSVP your interest in attending this field tour/BBQ by June 2nd.
Also, please indicate whether you have a vehicle you would be willing to
share a ride with other tour attendees.
