[Iesaf_palouse] Fund Request For SAF Leadership Academy

Dear PSR Chapter Members,

 

Our chapter has been approached by Robert Lawler - an MS graduate
student in Forest Resources and active student leader in the UISAF - for
travel assistance to attend the SAF Leadership Academy in Potomac,
Maryland April 26-29.   The total cost of the academy is $1300.  So far
Rob has been able to raise $625, with a further pending request with the
IESAF.   

 

Greg Bassler has given me a rough measure of our PSR checking account,
which stands at ~ $3,000.  However, this is somewhat in flux until we
balance the books on the annual meeting.

 

Therefore, I make a motion that the PSR chapter provide $300 to help Rob
Lawler attend the 2008 SAF Leadership Academy.

 

What I need from you is a vote in the form of an aye, nay, or need
further information on this motion.
