Attached below is an email message regarding the passing of a forester
in New York.  They are looking for donations to help get his family
through the winter.  Your help would be greatly appreciated.  For more

Dear SAF colleagues,

It is with great sadness that I must inform you of the recent death of
one of our members, Jude Zicot. Jude was killed on November 29th in an
accident while doing what he loved, performing forest management. The
accident that killed Jude Zicot was a tree falling on him while he was
doing TSI.  He had been practicing forestry services in the Catskills
area since his graduation from SUNY ESF in 1996. Those of us who knew
Jude would all agree that his honest and caring attitude set a good
example for our profession. We will miss him as a friend and a
colleague. 

Jude leaves behind his wife Jennifer, and three young children. The
family's needs will be many and immediate. A fund has been set up in
Jude's name for donations to help the family.

Contributions to the "Jude Zicot Fund" are being accepted by Sawyer
Savings Bank.

Currently the checks should be made to out to "Cash--Zicot Fund" and
should have Jude Zicot Fund in the memo.  They should be mailed as
follows:
