SAF.  Phil Anderson, chair of IESAF, will travel from Kettle Falls, WA
to present her with the award.  Please join us in honoring Lisa and her
achievements for SAF at our Wednesday meeting in Lewiston.  Below is the

Palouse-Snake River SAF Chapter May Meeting

Title:  The Greatest Good, A USFS Centennial Documentary - Parts 3 & 4


Meeting Topic:

Part Three:  World War II transformed the nation, as well as the U.S.
Forest Service, shifting from a stewardship role to the role of
production. Multiple use vs. single interests.

Part Four:  Outspoken public, increased environmental activism and the
Greatest Good challenge. A new scientific understanding of ecosystems
helped form a vision for public land management that continues to evolve
and guide the U.S. Forest Service.
