Palouse-Snake River SAF Chapter April Meeting

Title:  The Greatest Good, A USFS Centennial Documentary - Parts 1 & 2

Presented By: Kara Chadwick, USFS, Potlatch Ranger Station

Meeting Topic:

Part One:  The Fight for Conservation - Historical images capture the
early days of the conservation movement. Exploitation versus The
Greatest Good.

Part Two:  Building the System - Early tools and policies needed to
manage public lands. Influence of natural and social disasters including
catastrophic fires and the Great Depression on the young agency.
