[Iesaf_palouse] Palouse/Snake Chapter

Greetings to All,

As most of you probably already know the 2005 SAF National 
convention in Fort Worth Texas is coming up soon (Oct 18-23).  To 
show support for our SAF National convention, our state society 
(IESAF) has offered to provide $500 partial funding for current or 
interested (incumbent) IESAF officers to attend.  In lieu of the 
IESAF state society offer, Greg Bassler (Palouse/Snake Chapter 
Treasurer) and I (Palouse/Snake Secretary) would like to propose 
that the Palouse/Snake chapter partially support our chapter chair 
Tera King to attend the National convention.  Tera is very interested 
in attending but does not have the nearly $2000 needed to 
participate.  Tera's attendance would not only show support to 
current and future leadership within our chapter, but would also 
provide our chapter leader with first hand SAF information and 
leadership training.  Tera will be seeking other support, but the cost 
of financial support to our chapter would be between $1000-$1500.  
    
I encourage your comments and support for Tera.  Since the 
convention is only a couple of weeks away we will need to move 
quickly to get Tera signed up and on her way.  Please contact

Friday, Oct. 7th.
