Subject: [Iesaf_section] White Pine meeting and field trip
Hello white pine enthusiasts. The attached files describe the Selkirk
Chapter Meeting for September 16, starting at 6:30 pm at the Coeur d'Alene
Inn Best Western. In case you have problems with the attachments, I will
summarize.
On Friday, Russ Graham and Terrie Jain will prepare us for the field trip on
Saturday, 9/17 to the Deception Creek Experimental Forest on the Little
North Fork of the CDA River. Both the meeting and field trip are open to
SAF members and non-members who want to view innovative silviculture of WP
and associated species.
The field trip will leave the CDA Inn at 7:15 am, transportation provided to
reduce traffic congestion on the logging roads. This requires an RSVP for
both parts, so enough meals are available Friday and enough vans are
available Saturday. RSVP to Jennifer Costich-Thompson by 5:00 pm, Tuesday,
9/13/05.
