<p class="MsoNormal">I have a construction client whose qualifier left and they filed an application for a new qualifier a few months ago.  DBPR is still processing it at the speed of molasses and refuses to do anything to expedite the review.  They gave us
 the 60-day temporary license, but it expires Monday and we still can’t get anyone to put eyes on the application.  Our request for an extension of the temporary license was rejected by the DBPR Executive Director, who claims they lack the authority to do so. 
 So we can’t get anyone to just look at the application, we can’t get an extension of the temporary license and my client will have to shut down operations on Monday.<u></u><u></u></p>
