Subject: [RPPTL-constructionlaw] RPPTL At Large Membership Opportunity

Folks -

As you're likely aware from my mentioning it several times, our section would like a higher level of section-wide involvement from our committee. There are limitations on how we can do that at the committee chair/co-chair level, but another way is for CLC members to become RPPTL "At Large Members" of the Executive Council (also known as ALMS). Years ago, the ALMS were referred to a Circuit Representatives, reflective of the goal of having broad, statewide participation. ALMs are invited (and expected) to attend the Executive Council meetings, have voting rights, etc.

So please consider applying to become an ALM to, ultimately, support the work of our committee in the RPPTL Section.

You can find out more about ALMS here (but go to the page AFTER logging in to the RPPTL website): https://link.edgepilot.com/s/93b3f4d2/YvsZP_XkHESmPPmXKAEz1A?u=https://www.rpptl.org/DrawCommittees.aspx?GroupCommitteeTypeID=6%26GroupCommitteeID=75

Please look at the "ALMS by Circuit" button and see how well represented your "home" circuit is. If your circuit is underrepresented, it's probably more likely that you would be appointed. (We don't control the appointment process.) There is also a button to "Become an At-Large Member" that has more information on the specific responsibilities for ALMS. A quick look suggests the second, third, tenth, twelfth, fourteenth, sixteenth, eighteenth, and nineteenth are likely underrepresented. The fourteenth is vacant.

It says the nomination forms are "coming soon"; in the meantime, if you have an interest in serving, please email myself, Jason and Brett by next Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 5pm. (Our emails are in the CC line above).

Thank you for considering this opportunity.
