Good afternoon CLC and I hope you’re all having a great weekend, and perhaps even enjoying some fall weather. Up here in the panhandle, the high this weekend was in the low 80s, and the low last night was in the 50s, so it seems fall has finally arrived! At least we’re not waiting on a Nor’easter….

Our monthly CLC conference call will be tomorrow, Monday, October 13, 2025 , starting at 11:30 A.M. (Eastern) / 10:30 A.M. (Central). The agenda is attached. Minutes from last month to follow.

This month’s CLE will be presented by Claramargaret Groover, with Davisson Dunlap, III, and Brett Henson also on the panel; they will be presenting on Ch. 2025-140, Laws of Florida<https://laws.flrules.org/2025/140>, which, among other things, created the new section 218.755, Florida Statues<https://www.leg.state.fl.us/Statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&Search_String=&URL=0200-0299/0218/Sections/0218.755.html>, revising the Local Government Prompt Payment Act.
