[RPPTL-constructionlaw] Today's Meeting through Zoom and Going Forward

I have had the pleasure of a zoom-bomb, but have read that bombs can be prevented by restricting access. There is a club that I belong to that requires members to RSVP for each meeting and then the president sends those that did a link to the meeting, which is otherwise closed. Another technique is to require participants to enter a “waiting room,” and then the host allows them in after seeing who they are.
These might be too tedious and perhaps we can avoid them and see how it goes, but Zoom does have these security measures.
Also, Zoom allows users to record the meeting, although the host has to allow it.

Folks,

I thought the Zoom portion of the meeting went pretty well, all things considered.  The hold music fiasco, moreover, suggests that Zoom is the better option, since the host can mute anyone’s line if their dog is barking in the background, etc.  In other words, we never have to deal with hold music again.

If anyone has feedback on the switch to Zoom they would like considered, please let me know.  Absent a compelling reason, though, I am strongly leaning toward switching 100% to Zoom starting with our next monthly call.
