Arnie’s Lesson of the Day:  If you are old enough to recall the 1982 movie “Night Shift” starring Henry Winkler and Michael Keaton, Keaton’s character – Blaze - helps a group of employees define a word by asking “What are we really talking about here?”  “What is the essence?”  Blaze then proceeds to breakdown the word. Follow me in the exercise.

Con – truc – tion

Con – the prefix “con” means “with”

truc – the Urban Dictionary defines “truc” as “[a] dream girl who is very kind, popular, caring and pretty. She is also modest, beautiful, adorable and charming. She is also known to have flaws which she will admit to, though this will only add to her lovely personality.

tion – the suffix “tion” is used to … who cares.

Thus, the presentation has something to do with being with a hottie. While I doubt that the topic will qualify for CLE credit, it could be more interesting than trends in construction insurance claims.
