The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) is a not-for-profit, UK registered charity working in the public interest through an international network of branches. Primarily known in the United States for its unrivaled training, the Institute’s North America Branch is offering 3 programs on international arbitration co-sponsored by the American Bar Association’s Construction Forum and other organizations. All 3 programs are in Miami, FL and will run April 28 – 30 (immediately following the ABA’s Construction Forum).
The offerings are designed for newly admitted lawyers (Introduction to International Arbitration - 1 day program), lawyers with 5-10 years of experience (Accelerated Route to Member - 2 day program), and seasoned practitioners (Accelerated Route to Fellow - 3 day program). Each course is described below, and attached are brochures for each program. A registration fee discount is available to members of the ABA Forum on Construction Law. Registration is at the website of the North American Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, www.internationalarbitrators.org<http://www.internationalarbitrators.org/>.
A more detailed explanation of each of the 3 programs are listed below:
