This is a reminder of the Joint Meeting of the Construction Law Committee and Insurance and Surety Committee this Thursday, May 31, 2018, starting at 3:00 PM.  Attached is the agenda for our meeting.  Also attached is a calendar invitation that you should be able to open and “copy to your calendar” as a reminder.

The meeting will begin with the following free CLE presentation which is expected to last approximately one hour.  Materials for the presentation are attached.

The 2017 AIA Insurance Exhibit: Change Happens
presented by Charles E. Comiskey, CPCU, CIC, CPIA, CRM, PWCA, CRIS, CCM, CMIP, President, RiskTech, Inc. and Sr. V.P. of Brady Chapman Holland & Associates, Inc. in Houston, TX

This presentation will focus on the changes to the insurance requirements in the new 2017 editions of the AIA construction documents.

You may attend this free CLE “in-person” in the “Sawgrass” room of the Tradewinds Resort (see attached onsite brochure) or by teleconference (see call-in information below). It is taking place in conjunction with the executive council meeting in St. Pete Beach, FL. If you’re in the St. Pete area, I hope you will consider attending our CLC/ISC meeting in person on Thursday. You also are invited to attend most of the other committee meetings on Thursday or Friday, so I’m attaching the current “on-site brochure” which includes the meeting schedule for all of the committee meetings in case you’re interested in attending any of them.
