[RPPTL-constructionlaw] CLC CLE Presentation and In-Person Meeting in Key West, December 9th - "Use of Drones on Construction Projects"

Folks,

This is a reminder of our in-person meeting and CLE presentation (see below) at the upcoming executive council meeting in Key West this Friday, December 9, 2016, from 11:00 AM -12:30 PM.

Our meeting will be at The Westin Key West and is currently scheduled to be in Dewey Boardroom.  Attached is the agenda for the meeting along with the call-in information if you won't be there in person.

We will have a live CLE presentation entitled "Use of Drones on Construction Projects."  The CLE will be presented by Guy S. Haggard, B.C.S., a shareholder at Gray Robinson in their Orlando office.  The PowerPoint presentation is attached and following is a description of the presentation along with Mr. Haggard's bio:

Description of Presentation:  Just recently on August 29, 2016, the FAA issued new Rule Part 107 allowing the commercial use of drones on construction projects.  Guy Haggard will present on the legal requirements and issues to spot when your client asks questions about using a drone on a construction project.  Guy is Florida Bar Board Certified in Aviation Law, has been an active FAA licensed pilot for over 40 years, and is a FAA licensed commercial drone pilot.  He primarily practices construction law and aviation law.
