Dear CLC members,
I am writing to remind everyone about the upcoming 2014 Construction Law Institute being held on March 20-22, 2014 at The Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida. We have an exciting lineup of speakers, including:
* Irvin Richter of Hill International and Jerry Brodsky, Esq. speaking on globalization and the construction industry
* Chris Hodgkins of MAT Concessionaire, LLC with a luncheon presentation on the Miami Tunnel Project, one of the largest public private partnership projects in the history of the state
* A panel presentation on the 2013 Revised Florida Arbitration Code
* A panel presentation on the economic loss rule after Tiara Condominium
and much more. The Certification Review Course - held in conjunction with the Institute - gets started on Thursday and covers everything from AIA contracts to lien law to insurance and alternative dispute resolution.
The Institute starts on Thursday with a golf tournament followed by a welcome reception. Last year's welcome reception was standing room only! Thanks to our highest level of sponsorship ever, we are looking forward to another great event at the beautiful Rosen Shingle Creek resort. The hotel is quickly filling up, so book your rooms and register now.
Anyone having any questions can feel free to email me directly at reese.henderson at gray-robinson.com<mailto:reese.henderson at gray-robinson.com>. I look forward to seeing everyone there.
Thanks,
Reese Henderson
