A message from the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law section of the Florida Bar:

Greetings. As you are aware, the RPPTL Section sponsors a number of CLE programs throughout the Bar year. Below are details about some upcoming programs of interest - please recognize that while a particular program may not necessarily be of interest to you, it may be of interest to your partners and their individual practices, so please feel free to forward this email on to others that you know.

1. On Tuesday, March 18th, join us for Real Estate Finance: Advanced Commercial Real Estate Loan Document Drafting and Negotiation, our lunchtime eCLE program from 12:00-1:00. The program will be moderated by William Sklar of Boca Raton, and our presenters will be Jason Ellison of St. Petersburg and Salome Zikakis of Ft. Lauderdale. Our panelists will present a live negotiation between lender and borrower counsel of key provisions necessary to close the commercial real estate loan. These provisions include assignment of rents, defaults and remedies, attorneys' fees, receiverships, and waiver of tort liability among other major loan document provisions. This program has been approved for 1 hour of general CLE credit. You will dial in via phone to listen to the speakers, and you will follow their PowerPoint on your computer screen - you will receive specific instructions for connecting to the program a day or two before the program. So, bring your lunch and plan to join us! The cost is $75 for RPPTL members and $100 for non-RPPTL members.
