[RPPTL-constructionlaw] Oh What a Night!!

I would hope that this issue could in fact be placed on the agenda for one of our meetings. I for one find that I recieve more benefit from having access to those email replies that I am interested in, then I am overburdened by hitting delete on those I am not interested in. Retaining that option is one of the benefits I find in being on this committee. Just my two cents.

I think this is a technical issue, regardless of what Arnie would or wouldn’t do.
If one hits “reply” the e-mail automatically goes to the entire list (which is what I did with this e-mail). If it could be set up so that if one hits “reply” then it only goes to the initial sender, that would solve the problem.

May I suggest that, at today's conference call, the Chair raise the issue of "reply all" emails.
While there may be some who dont mind 30 emails in one day to discuss non-substantive issues, I would respectfully appreciate it if these emails could be very limited.
Thank you.

Arnie,
Good Story. You should write some fiction.

Subject: [RPPTL-constructionlaw] Oh What a Night!!
People: Good Friday (literally) to everyone! Although, it’s not such a good Friday for me.
It all started with an innocent-enough shoeshine (or 3 or 5 - certainly more than the times that Newt Gingrich has been married) at the Construction Law Institute in Orlando a few weeks ago. Who knew that my wife would actually notice that my shoes had been polished? I mean the women didn’t even notice that I switched from glasses to contact lenses? Is a shoeshine the new “lipstick on the collar”? (that sounded a lot like something that the Cary Bradshaw character from HBO’s “Sex and the City” would say. Yes, Lee, I watched the series).
Anyway, in an attempt to end the interrogation, I scrambled for my Echo-Sketch (Sanjay – this is the original IPad and Angry Birds) to divert my eyes and suggested a long-overdue date night (translation in my wife’s lexicon: “date night” means an evening with her friends and their husbands). Sounds easy enough except that they plan dinner and a “show” – the off, off, off Broadway production of Jersey Boys. I mean the actors playing Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons weren’t even Italian (one was of middle-eastern descent and another was the tallest, redheaded Irish kid I have ever seen). To compound the matter, the other husbands hail from NYC and Philly, respectively. YO!! If I hear YO! one more time I’m gonna wack somebody.
So - there I am – hanging out with several hundred other middle-aged men who were all wearing those Tommy Bahamas shirts and sporting goatees because I simply wanted to take care of my footwear. Lesson learned (again).
Any who, DON’T FORGET that this Monday is our April monthly teleconference which begins promptly at 11:30 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time). The call-in telephone number is 888-376-5050 and the pass code is 1326538415#. Please make a note of this for future reference.
You will be receiving a formal agenda, meeting minutes and other such information in a subsequent email before Monday’s teleconference.
Please never hesitate to contact Hardy, Lisa, Fred or me should you have any questions, concerns, suggestions or want to get more involved in the CLC. Thanks, Arnie.
