Age 45, rapidly closing in on 46 - try Thievery Corporation. Just the
right thing now and then, and nicely incendiary all the time.

At 42, I am fond of both Death Cab and the Artic Monkeys. Neither, of
course, are as good as Drive-By-Truckers, but that's probably apples &
oranges as far as musical styles. Then there's the Ass Ponys, which are
also good...

I am 44 and actually like Death Cab For Cutie. If its any consolation,
my wife is dragging me to a concert by "The Arctic Monkeys".

CLC Gang: Its hell getting old. As part of my (48th) birthday
celebration (actually Oct. 5th), my wife is taking me to a concert
tonight at The Florida Theater in Jacksonville. The band is Death Cab
for Cutie. Seriously - Death Cab for Cutie (I wanted to go to Duran,
Duran).

Anywho...I thought she was taking me to a Death Match of Cuties. In my
mind that's the old mud wrestling match scene from the movie Stripes
where actor John Candy enters the "mud ring" against several scantily
clad young ladies for a wrestling match. (warning: use of the term
"scantily clad" automatically makes you old or, worse yet, British).
Ultimately, Bill Murray's and Harold Ramos' characters are swept out of
the event by two sexy female MPs for an evening of fun at the Colonels'
home. My wife refuses to wear a MP uniform during role playing -
something about green fatigues makes her look "too Bachmanish". Its
hell getting old.

DON'T FORGET that this Monday is our October monthly teleconference
which begins promptly at 11:30 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time). The call-in
telephone number is 888-376-5050 and the pass code is 1326538415#.
Please make a note of this for future reference.

Our October speaker is Jason Perkins with Carlton Fields. Jason will be
discussing the differences between common law and contractual indemnity;
the various types of contractual indemnify; the duty to defend versus
the duty to indemnify; and the implications of anti-indemnity statutes.

You will be receiving a formal agenda, meeting minutes and other such
information in a subsequent email before Monday's teleconference.

Please never hesitate to contact Hardy, Lisa or me, should you have any
questions, concerns, suggestions or want to get more involved in the
CLC. Thanks, Arnie.
