I would like to echo the Section's endorsement of Gwynne Young for
Florida Bar President, as well as the others listed below for the Board
of Governors.   With the exception of her time as an Assistant State
Attorney, Gwynne has been a commercial lawyer with Carlton Fields her
entire career (over 30 years), and understands that side of the
profession.   I have worked with Gwynne on cases, and she has the utmost
integrity and professionalism, and will work tirelessly to serve the Bar
well.

Dear RPPTL Section Members:

 

The time is here!  The time to vote in The Florida Bar elections.  I
understand that ballots were mailed March 1.  Watch your mail for your
PIN number and voting instructions.

 

The candidates include current and former members of the Executive
Council of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. 

Gwynne Young for President-Elect of The Florida Bar:   Gwynne has served
on the Executive Council of RPPTL since 2001 and is a past liaison from
the Bar's Board of Governors to the Section.  For more information about

to RPPTL has been outstanding.  As a consequence of the quality and
duration of this service, the Section's Executive Committee has endorsed
her candidacy. 

 

I am also proud that three candidates for the Board of Governors of The
Florida Bar are current or past members of the RPPTL's Executive
Council.

Denise A. Dymond Lyn from the Fifth Circuit. 

Sandra F. Diamond from the Sixth Circuit

Seth A. Marmor from the Fifteenth Circuit

All three of these candidates have been valuable and active members of
the RPPTL's Executive Council.  

 

In addition, Sandra Diamond was Chair of RPPTL in 2008 to 2009.  RPPTL
recognized her efforts by presenting her with the Annual Service Award
in 2002 and the William S. Belcher Lifetime Professionalism Award in
2010.

 

I hope you will join me in voting for these contributors to the RPPTL
Section.
