I, as one of your loyal subjects, would not dare "look at" you but would
cast my eyes aside in deference and respect to your "ascension" to the
throne.   However, I and your other subjects anxiously anticipate "looking
up" to you to sustain the superior leadership to which the CLC has become
accustomed; thanks Brian.  (Well, the real reason we "look up" to you is
that your taller than most.)  Your subjects also "look forward" to the
dominion of Prince Party Hardy and Duchess Dash.

Gang:  Its Arnie and July marks the beginning of my term (or reign as I like
to refer to it while looking in the mirror doing my best De Niro from Taxi
Driver) as Chair of the Construction Law Committee.  You looking at me?

First off, we must all thank Brian Wolf for his time, effort and leadership
these last few years as Chair of the CLC.  I've got some big shoes to fill.
Seriously, Brian has freakishly large feet and you know what they say about
someone with big feet - big shoes.  Clown shoes. Enough.  Simply, thanks
Wolfman for all that you did for the CLC! (Disclaimer:  "Wolfman" is not
Brian's actual nickname). 

Due to my ascension (sounds good doesn't it) to Chair of the CLC, Hardy
Roberts is the CLC's new 1st Vice Chair.  Hardy does not have a nickname as
of yet but "Party Hardy" is getting the most votes so far. The 2nd place
vote getter for a nickname for Hardy is "Lamar".  Replacing Hardy as 2nd
Vice Chair is Lisa Colon-Heron. Lisa's nickname is "dash" due to her
hyphenated last name  (just go with it people).  

DON'T FORGET THAT this Monday is our July monthly teleconference which
begins promptly at 11:30 a.m. (yes Fred, Eastern Standard Time).  There was
some confusion last month as to the correct or new call-in telephone number
and pass code for the teleconference.  Let's blame that on the outgoing
administration. (Sorry for throwing you under the bus Wolfman but I needed
coverage.)  

The correct call-in telephone number is 888-376-5050 and the pass code is
1326538415#.   Please make a note of this for future reference.  

You will be receiving a formal agenda, meeting minutes and other such
information in a subsequent email before Monday's teleconference.  

I hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of July weekend and will be back in the
office saddle for Monday's teleconference.  Please never hesitate to contact
Dash, Party Hardy or me,  should you have any questions, concerns,
suggestions or want to get more involved in the CLC.  Thanks, Arnie.
