<div dir="ltr"><div>Jacksonville Area Legal Aid is seeking pro bono construction attorneys to either co-counsel with Legal Aid staff counsel <u>or</u> to serve as a mentor/expert resource for the case. </div><div>JALA summarizes the matter as follows.</div><div>A 78-year old widow needs assistance defending a Duval County lien foreclosure lawsuit from the materials supplier as it appears the roofing contractor failed to pay the supplier. </div><div>The roofer may be going out of business. 
News4Jax reported on this issue. Owner says he will "make whole" but did not.  </div><div>Client has filed a motion to enlarge time to answer the suit. No order responding yet. </div><div>Amount claimed owed in complaint $7565.87. Lien says the same.
