<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">Good reference, Stuart. Licensure under 320.8249 would definitely apply to initial installation related activities for a mobile home. It’s not clear however what licensure is required for work on a mobile home
after such setup or installation. 320.822(14) contains the following relevant definition: “Setup” or “installation” means the operations performed at the occupancy site which render a mobile home or park trailer fit for habitation. Such operations include,
but are not limited to, transporting; positioning; blocking; leveling, supporting, installing foundation products, components, and systems; connecting utility systems; making minor adjustments; or assembling multiple or expandable units.” Elsewhere, at 320.8249(15)
it is clear that even such licensure under Ch. 320 does not permit the licensee to perform plumbing or electrical work prohibited by Department Rules.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">So it appears that licensure under either 320 or 489 (for at least certain plumbing and electrical scope) may be required. Still unclear about licensure for non-set up work that does not involve electrical or
