<p class="MsoNormal">I’m proposing the following “alert” be sent to all our CLC members:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">“Effective July 1, 2014, Section 46, Chapter 2014-218, LOF, <u>
EXTENDS building permits</u>, as well as any permit issued by DEP or a water management district pursuant to Part IV of Chapter 373,
<b>for a period of TWO YEARS from any current expiration date falling between January 1, 2014 and January 1, 2016.</b> This extension also includes local government-issued development orders, and is IN ADDITION to most other such extension granted in 2009,
2010, 2011, 2012, provided that the total extensions cannot excess four (4) years.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><i><u>HOWEVER, in order to be eligible for any such extension, the permit holder must NOTIFY THE AGENCY IN WRITING BY DECEMBER 31, 2014.<o:p></o:p></u></i></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This extension does NOT apply to permits issued by the Army Corp of Engineers, any permit that is already in “significant noncompliance” or subject of a warning letter or notice of violation, or contrary to court order<o:p></o:p></p>
