On Friday, May 12, 2023, the Real Property Probate & Trust Law Section (RPPTL) of The Florida Bar is hosting the inaugural Real Property Litigation Symposium.

The Symposium can be attended virtually from here in the panhandle and provides 7.5 hours of CLE Credit (including 1 Tech & 1 Ethics). Additionally, 7.5 hours can be used towards certification/recertification credit for Real Estate, Condo, and Business Litigation Board Certifications.  Alternatively, you can join my colleagues and I in Orlando

The symposium is intended to provide advanced-level information and discussions of issues (many of which are emerging) encountered by Real Estate practitioners – both in litigation and in transactions (in the hope of avoiding litigation).

A judicial roundtable of Federal and Florida Circuit Judges will be presented to provide insight into the Bench’s view of how we can perform at our best as advocates.

Numerous other involved topics will be presented.

I’ll be presenting only a small part – a 30 minute discussion of certain opinions issued and statutes effective in the past ~12 months particular to the context.
